Procession

Seating of the parents – The active involvement of the couple’s parrents/grandparrents shows honor and blessings being passed to the newly forged union from the previous generations of unions. (Seat groom grandmother, bride grandmother, groom parents, bride mother).

Groom and priest enter from the right stage to main area.

Bride’s maids escorted by groom’s men enter from the center isle. The maids and men’s functions are to provide general assistance to the bride and groom (managing parties, wedding planning, and coordinating the wedding days events & people).

Next Enter Maid of Honor and Best Man down the center isle. Like the maids and men, these individuals are responsible in assisting in the wedding, as well as are expected to participate in speeches or toasts.

Next enters the Ring bearer and Flower girl. The ring bearer is typically a young male who (hysterically) represents the groom’s page/servant and brings his lord the rings. The flower girl is typically a young lady who drops flowers along the isle way, prepping it for the arrival of the bride.

Wedding march

Enters the Bride and father. All stand as recognition to the bride. Marching down the isle, the pair stops before the priest and groom. At this time, the father of the bride “gives away” the bride to the groom and joins the mother of the bride, symbolizing the movement of the bride from her father’s family to her husbands.

Unity Sand Ceremony

The flowing sand and blending of the colors in the Unity Sand Ceremony symbolize the bringing together of two lives into one. The two sands symbolize everything that the bride and groom have been or will become in the future.

The blending of the sand represents the union not only of them but their friends and families as well. The separate sands once poured into the unity vase can never be put back into their separate vases. They are forever entwined just as the lives and loves of the bride and groom.

Some couples prefer to leave a small amount of sand in their respective.

To make it more personal and reflect our flavorful personalitys we are going to use spices instead of sand.

Charge & vows

First is the charge. The charge is a reminder of the duty and commitment the couple will be promising to each other.

Next is the pledge. The pledge is a declaration from the couple that it is their desire and free will to become married.

Next are the vows. The vows are the promises the couple will make to each other before god and the witnesses that they shall be together through happiness or strife.

Next is the exchange of the rings. The ring represents an eternal bond of the unison of the hearts of the couple. The wearing of the rings symbolizes the eternal promise to be committed to only each other.

Next is the lighting of the unity candle. Both the bride and groom will light a candle together from a pair of an individual candles. This symbolizes the separation of the couples 2 individual lives into a single existence.

Finally is the pronouncement. The priest confirms the marriage and finalizes the process before the witnesses and god.

The kiss and presentation occur next and show the love the new couple has to the witnesses.

Now is the recessional where everyone exits the church. The order is: (bride and groom, maid of honor/best man, bride/groom men, flower girl/ring bearer, honored guests, remaining guests)
